Article One adds 15 optical and sun styles to its spring/summer 2026 collection, blending technical performance with refined design for everyday wear. The collection, which is handmade in Japan, is characterized by sculptural acetate and metal frames, understated styling, and everyday versatility.
A key feature of the sunwear collection is the introduction of Article One's new TR-18 Tritan sun lens platform. Paired with premium acetate and metal frame constructions, the BPA-free copolyester lens material was selected for its optical clarity, impact resistance, and structural stability that supports the collection's sculptural design language and Article One’s eco-conscious, future-forward approach.
Throughout the collection, Article One incorporates integrated spring hinges, adjustable grip-fit nose pads, custom fit architecture, and interior temple-tip grip accents that are designed to enhance comfort and fit. The color palette features grounded neutrals, translucent mineral tones, muted industrial finishes, and layered acetates that are inspired by natural materials, movement, and light. Highlighted styles include:
Manistee, a sculptural double-bar acetate sun frame featuring a classic rectangular shape
Wabasis, a rounded statement silhouette with transparent acetates
Avalon 2.0, a sport-luxe square sun style
Gogebic, a geometric stainless steel aviator
Moon 2.0, a softened geometric sunglass design
Sawyer, a relaxed square optical frame that blends heritage-inspired details with contemporary athletic influences.
