The Magic City
Safilo unveils the Spring/Summer 2021 styles in its Eyewear by David Beckham collection.
The overall collection is designed to reflect the style icon and former professional soccer star’s favored cities across the globe, with the latest release drawing inspiration from Miami, a home away from home for Beckham.
“The energy of the city is electric, and this new collection of eyewear is inspired by that and the beautiful light, vibrant culture, and diversity of its people,” says Beckham.
Highlights from this release include options with photochromic lenses, the collection’s signature talisman design detail, and vintage-inspired patterns on the temples.
The DB Eyewear DB 7055 (pictured) offers a sophisticated, slim shape in matte black/gold, matte black/ruthenium, or matte brown/ruthenium.
Catch the Wave
Austrian eyewear brand Silhouette introduces its new Lite Wave collection, featuring chic full-rim models constructed of ultrathin titanium, with each frame weighing in at just 3.68 grams.
This release marks the first eyewear assortment from Silhouette to include closure mechanisms contained in the hinges, allowing for easy removal of the lenses via opening the temples with a set of pliers, shares the company.
Lite Wave offers a variety of shapes in a range of pastel and metallic hues such as soft caramel, velvet cassis, and lavender.
