Altair Eyewear introduces the Anne Klein bio-based collection of sunglasses and optical styles made with cellulose acetate featuring more than 60% bio-based materials.
The new assortment also offers enhanced comfort sizing; each style is available in standard, petite, and extended fit sizing.
Here, the Anne Klein AK5092 is a showstopping cat-eye style pairing a crystal front with laminated tortoise detailing on the top corners of the front and temples.
Coveted Cool
Silhouette unveils its latest interpretation of its iconic Futura sunglasses, Futura Dot.
Worn by superstars like John Lennon and Elton John, Silhouette’s Futura suns first launched in 1973 and have been reinterpreted throughout the brand’s history—resulting in an assortment that serves as a true collector’s item.
Futura Dot is available in a limited release of 1964 pieces globally (honoring Silhouette’s birth year), with individual serial numbers printed on the inside of the shield. A certificate with the serial number is also included in the packaging.
The “dot” in the center of the shield is highlighted by a handmade color inlay. Futura Dot is available in four colors.

Maui Jim continues its commitment to its home of Maui, HI. In 2021, the brand donated approximately $260,000 across a variety of local Maui charities: Hale Makua Health Services, IMUA Family Services, Maui Arts & Cultural Center, and Women Helping Women Maui.
Serengeti Eyewear announced it’s moving all manufacturing to Italy. In the past, the brand manufactured some of its collection in Italy, but as of spring 2022, it will move all lens and frame production to the country.

Revo, available from ClearVision Optical, unveils its latest sun collection offering the brand’s new, lightweight frame construction and a photochromic lens option.

Ogi Eyewear unveils the new look and feel of its ready-to-wear reading glasses collection, Scojo New York, designed to offer eyecare professionals a premium option in the reader segment to allow them to have more complete oversight of their patients’ vision care habits.
Styles in the Scojo New York assortment (viewable via virtual try-on technology) feature optical-grade lenses that are triple-checked for quality assurance throughout assembly, shares Ogi.
The Scojo New York collection also offers blue-light-filtering options and reading sunglasses.
