Safilo has teamed up with Amazon to launch Carrera Smart Glasses with Alexa, combining iconic Carrera eyewear design with Amazon’s Alexa artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The release includes two signature Carrera styles, the Carrera Cruiser and Carrera Sprinter (pictured). Blue-light-filtering or UV400 sunglass lenses with an anti-reflective coating are also available and the styles are IPX4 splash resistant and sweat resistant.
The smart eyewear’s open-ear audio technology directs sound to the wearer’s ears without covering them while minimizing what others around can hear. Wearers can listen to audio such as music or podcasts, make calls, receive and filter notifications, control smart home devices via voice, and more. Wearers can experience up to six hours of continuous media playback on a full battery charge or up to 14 hours of moderate usage.
Timeless Appeal
The Anne Klein eyewear collection unveils its latest assortment for fall/winter from Altair Eyewear. New ophthalmic and sunglass styles feature standout design details including marble colorways, two-tone metals, and crystal embellishments.
The collection continues to expand its offerings to meet a wider range of women’s needs; acetate frames with adjustable nose pads and a variety of styles in petite and extended-fit sizes are available.
Supermodel Jasmine Tookes is featured in the brand’s latest campaign. Here, she sports the Anne Klein AK5112, a chic cat-eye silhouette in gold metal.

Next-Gen Smart Glasses
In the second-generation release of Ray-Ban | Meta smart glasses from EssilorLuxottica, Ray-Ban and Meta team up with athlete Coco Gauff (pictured) as well as musicians Maluma, Erykah Badu, and Coi Leary.
The smart glasses are available in a variety of styles, colors, and lens variations, and allow the wearer to capture photos and video (including livestream), take calls, listen to music, access Meta AI, and more.
As a commitment to privacy, the updated smart glasses feature a bigger, more noticeable privacy LED light. The capture quality has been updated from a five-megapixel camera to an ultrawide 12-megapixel camera. The listening experience now includes bass response and noise suppression for increased audio quality.

Carolina Herrera reveals its fall/winter eyewear collection from Safilo.
Encompassing key design stories, ophthalmic and sunglass styles for the new season portray the brand’s confident, joyful approach. Standout design details include studs and crystals, monogram logo elements, layered acetates, and fashion-forward silhouettes.
The eyewear collection’s accompanying campaign for the season, “Beauty in the Night,” features supermodel Stella Maxwell and highlights the glamorous appeal of the assortment. Here, she sports the glamorous Carolina Herrera HER0200 from the brand’s Stardust eyewear range, featuring a stainless steel front with crystal embellishments.

Tom Ford eyewear from Marcolin introduces the new Tom Ford Après-Ski eyewear collection, featuring sport-influenced sunglass styles and a ski goggle, defined by high-quality materials, modern design, and signature Tom Ford logo details.
The Tom Ford Rellen (pictured) is a unisex, oversized mask sunglass style with chunky temples and graphic metal details.
