Honoring an Icon
Yalea, a celebrated house brand from De Rigo Rem, unveils the Yalea x Frida Kahlo capsule collection, an assortment of two ophthalmic and two sunglass styles designed to pay homage to the late artist’s legacy.
Key design elements include paintbrush-shaped temple tips, bold silhouettes in vibrant colors, floral patterns, and words emblematic of the artist (“beautiful,” “rebel,” “unique,” or “strong”) displayed on the inner temples.
The assortment will be available in the U.S. in the fall.

EssilorLuxottica and Dolce & Gabbana announced the early renewal of their licensing agreement for the development, production, and worldwide distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses under the Dolce & Gabbana brand until Dec. 31, 2039.
◄ Marcolin and Skechers U.S.A. Inc. announced the renewal of their licensing agreement for the design, production, and worldwide distribution of Skechers sunglasses, eyeglasses, and kids’ eyewear until Dec. 31, 2030.
Safilo Group and Missoni announced the renewal of their global licensing agreement for Missoni brand eyewear until the end of 2029.
