Longchamp presented its Fall/Winter 2026 eyewear collection at La Maison Unique, the brand’s SoHo flagship on Spring Street in New York City. The location is a showcase for the house’s design identity and craftsmanship, according to the brand, making it a fitting setting for eyewear that closely connects with the brand’s accessories.
One of the strongest takeaways from the preview was the season’s play on proportion. old, sculpted sunwear delivered substantial silhouettes, while slim, lightweight cat-eye shapes offered a more streamlined counterpoint.
Sport-inspired looks added another direction and gave parts of the collection a polished sport-chic feel.
Color was another notable theme. Blue and rose lens tints stood out at the presentation, alongside neutral and richly colored frame treatments.
The clearest connection between the eyewear and Longchamp’s broader design vocabulary came through its hardware. Bamboo-inspired metal details at hinges and temples echoed accents on handbags displayed nearby. Marchon has previously explained that this eyewear motif draws on the distinctive bamboo-style clasp on Longchamp’s Roseau bag.
Together, the Fall/Winter 2026 directions create a study in contrasts: substantial and slim, polished and sporty, with recognizable Longchamp details that tie the collection together.
