Aug. 22, 2023 — The Optical Women’s Association (OWA) has announced details regarding its Connection Series event, The Rally Mentality, to take place at Vision Expo West on Thursday, Sept. 28, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Venetian (Level 3—Murano, Room 3304).
 
Sponsored by VSP Vision, the OWA will host keynote speaker Shannon McKain for an inspiring presentation on defining and overcoming perceived limitations, from the self-imposed to the circumstantial.
 
McKain is a former NFL cheerleader, a 15-year executive recruiter, and has made appearances on ABC, CBS, NBC, and Nickelodeon. Her work helps organization and corporation uncover complex issues standing between employees, teams, and success.
 
Everyone is welcome but prior registration is required here. Tickets cost $35 for OWA members and $40 for nonmembers. Lunch will be served.
