April 18, 2024 — The Vision Council (TVC) recently concluded its 2024 Lab Leadership Forum, which took place April 11-12 at the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, CA. Designed for TVC’s optical laboratory members, the two-day event gathered nearly 100 optical industry executives for education, presentations, and networking.

In addition to a range of presentations and events, including a golf tournament, the agenda featured the posthumous honoring of Steve Sutherlin with the 2024 Goodfellow Award—an award that acknowledges individuals who significantly contribute to the advancement of the industry. Within his lifelong career in the optical industry, Sutherlin played a pivotal role in the merger of the Optical Laboratories Association and TVC, the organization shares.
