Aug. 22, 2024 — The World Council of Optometry (WCO) and CooperVision have released a video series to assist eyecare professionals in utilizing the WCO CooperVision Myopia Management Navigator, an interactive guide designed to support evidence-based approaches to myopia management.

Available here, the series features four WCO ambassadors—Nicola Logan, Ph.D.; Jagrut Lallu, O.D.; Síofra Harrington, Ph.D.; and #EBGameChanger Ashley Wallace-Tucker, O.D., FAAO, FSLS—who offer practical advice on how to integrate the navigator into clinical practice and engage in meaningful discussions with patients and their families.

Launched in April 2024 in collaboration with CooperVision, the WCO CooperVision Myopia Management Navigator is a free online resource that covers key aspects of myopia management based on the pillars of mitigation, measurement, and management. The tool aims to promote the adoption of myopia management as a standard of care among ECPs globally.

Ed., MPH, FAAO. “We believe their knowledge and skills will inspire eyecare professionals worldwide to continue to adopt myopia management as a standard of care in their practices to address this public health crisis."
