The Loft Eyewear Show in New York City is set to take place March 13-15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., marking its 25th anniversary with an expanded format in new locations within the Chelsea/Hudson Yards district.
The independent eyewear event began in 2000 as a small gathering of brands. The 2025 edition will be the largest to date, organizers share, featuring more than 150 independent eyewear designers across two venues between 26th and 28th streets.
“We knew that we would have to grow the event to provide a comprehensive reason for clients to keep coming here,” says Loft founder Richard Mewha. “We have added a range of independent, curated frame brands as well as a premium lens company and a lab. We have also encouraged other showrooms in a coordinated effort to boost attendance and embellish the customer experience.”
This year, the event will also offer continuing education classes led by industry experts. Attendees can schedule both eyewear appointments and CE sessions on the show’s website.
Loft NYC is one of the events anchoring the first-ever Eyewear Design Week in New York, an initiative aimed at bringing together independent eyewear brands and showrooms citywide.
“We have had unprecedented interest in our event in 2025 and have directly spawned and inspired spin-off events firmly putting independent eyewear on the map as has been our mission since day one,” says Loft marketing director Louis Fullagar.
