Jan. 9, 2025 — Revo marks its 40th anniversary by transitioning to direct distribution in several major markets. To update its global distribution approach, the company has appointed new leadership to oversee operations in these regions: Filippo Valentini, managing director of the Dido Agency in Italy; Eric Gonguet, managing director for France, Switzerland, and Belgium; Gareth Evans, managing director for the U.K. and Ireland; and Devi Huurneman, exclusive agent for the Benelux region, covering Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Additionally, Benedicte Bore and Thor Lien have been appointed as principals of Sporty Outdoor and will manage operations in Scandinavia, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.

Topcon Healthcare Inc. has appointed Christian Odaker, PhD, as its new chief technology officer. Dr. Odaker will focus on advancing the company’s digital health platform and its Healthcare from the Eye initiative, which utilizes artificial intelligence-powered disease detection and management through noninvasive retinal imaging. Dr. Odaker brings two decades of experience in health care and technology to the role. His career includes leadership roles at Heidelberg Engineering and ESI Group, and most recently, he served as chief technology officer at Smart Reporting.
