Advanced training tracks in lasers, surgical procedures, and aesthetics will provide 16 hours of continuing education and certification opportunities.
A featured session, “Insights to Action: Research Redefining Clinical Practice Today,” will present research from academy sections and SIGs, focusing on studies with direct clinical applications.
The Monroe J. Hirsch Research Symposium, “Oculomics – Leveraging Ocular Biomarkers to Assess Systemic Health,” will examine the use of ocular imaging and diagnostics in identifying systemic diseases, including cardiovascular and neurodegenerative conditions.
The event will also include the Scientific Program, paper and poster presentations, including hot topic continuing education sessions addressing emerging trends and research.
Abstract submissions for the Scientific Program will be open from May 1 to May 29 and are open to both members and nonmembers. The final program schedule is expected to be released in late July.
In addition to educational sessions, the meeting will feature an exhibit hall open Wednesday through Friday, with more than 170 companies presenting new technologies and products in eye care. Industry-sponsored breakfast, lunch, and dinner sessions will provide additional opportunities for engagement.
