L’Amy America has partnered with Billabong for the launch of Billabong eyewear in the US and Canada. Under the agreement, L’Amy America will design, manufacture, and distribute Billabong optical frames, sunglasses, eyewear accessories, snow goggles, and motorsport goggles for men, women, and children. The first collection is expected to launch later this year.
Safilo Group has signed an exclusivity agreement with Bollé Brands to acquire 2 US-based eyewear brands, SPY+ and Serengeti. The proposed transaction remains subject to consultation with relevant bodies and customary closing conditions. SPY+, a sports and sunglasses brand with a strong presence in sport/outdoor channels and direct-to-consumer distribution, is expected to complement Safilo’s existing Smith brand. Serengeti, known for its mineral lenses and premium positioning, would expand Safilo’s presence in the high-end eyewear segment.
