The Optical Women's Association (OWA) has released the latest episode of its OWA Talks podcast, featuring optical industry veteran Kelly Rosemann who discusses strategies for creating patient experiences that encourage long-term loyalty.
Titled "Beyond the Lens: Creating Experiences That Keep Patients Coming Back," the episode explores how eyecare practices can move beyond transactional interactions to deliver experience-driven care that strengthens patient relationships and supports practice growth.
Rosemann has more than 28 years of experience in the optical industry. Her career spans independent practice, laboratory partnerships, and global lens manufacturing. She began working in an optical shop in St. Louis, Missouri, where she gained firsthand insight into the factors that influence both patient satisfaction and business success.
She later joined Hoya and advanced from lens sales into technical marketing and education. In her current role at Horizons Optical, Ms. Rosemann focuses on expanding professional education and strengthening strategic partnerships with eyecare professionals across the United States. She has developed and presented American Board of Opticianry-accredited educational programs on profitability, managed vision care, and patient experience, and is recognized for translating complex optical concepts into practical strategies for clinical practice.
The monthly OWA Talks podcast is hosted by OWA members Carissa Dunphy and Tatiana Stewart and is released on the first Tuesday of each month. Episodes are available through the OWA website as well as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other podcast platforms.
