On August 5 at 8:00 p.m. ET, the Optical Training Institute (OTI) will host a free ABO continuing education webinar on helping optical professionals reduce avoidable remakes and improve workflow efficiency. The management-focused course, When a Remake is a Mistake, will be presented by Brianna Cuenca, ABO-AC.

According to OTI, the webinar will examine the most common avoidable causes of remakes and strategies for identifying issues before they become costly. Using real-world examples and Optician Simulator demonstrations, attendees will learn techniques for obtaining accurate measurements on the first attempt, transposing and verifying prescriptions, recommending appropriate frame and lens combinations, and preventing in-house damage.
