Transitions Optical is now accepting applications for its 2027 Transitions Change Agent program, a peer-to-peer initiative that brings together eyecare professionals from the United States and Canada to share expertise and promote awareness of Transitions lenses.

Established in 2016, the program provides participating eyecare professionals with opportunities to share their perspectives on eye health, innovation, technology, and style with colleagues, industry professionals, and patients. Participants contribute to the program through social media, focus groups, speaking engagements, interviews, and other professional activities. Members may also receive access to product trials, technology testing, and sessions to gather feedback on innovations.

“We’re looking for professionals [who are] ready to bring their perspectives to a dynamic peer community and help shape Transitions programming and conversations across the industry,” said Arlene Barringer, trade marketing director at Transitions Optical.

Applicants must complete an online application explaining their interest in becoming a Change Agent and what they hope to accomplish through the program. They must also provide links to their social media profiles and answer additional application questions.

Applications will be accepted through November 15, and selected applicants will be notified in December. They will then participate in the program throughout the 2027 calendar year.
