The Vision Council (TVC) has opened registration for its 2027 Executive Summit, scheduled for January 20-22 at La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. The annual event will bring together executives and leaders from across the optical industry for educational presentations, economic updates, and networking opportunities. Keynote presentations will address business relationship development, artificial intelligence, and government and regulatory affairs. Attendees will also receive an optical industry economic forecast for 2027 and a broader economic outlook. A complete agenda and keynote speaker lineup will be announced at a later date.

The 2027 theme, “Connections: The Skills Technology Cannot Replace,” will focus on the role of interpersonal relationships and professional skills as businesses increasingly adopt new technologies. Networking activities will begin before the main program on Wednesday afternoon, January 20. Optional pre-event activities include golf at La Cantera's 18-hole course, pickleball, and the Cantina Challenge, which will feature Texas trivia and a guacamole-making lesson. Additional activities during the Summit include a networking nature walk and group yoga.
