EUROPA INTERNATIONAL GROWS DB4K COLLECTION Europa International has rolled out a new collection for youngsters, the db4k collection. The youthful spin-off of Europa's David Benjamin collection for men and women, the kids' line retains a fun approach to eyewear. Created to be a reflection of a child's taste and personality, this collection was designed to grow with them and their ever-changing interests, appealing to kids and parents alike. While there is nothing too precious, too cutesy, or too babyish about db4k, the 12-piece collection with style names such as Sweetheart, Surfer Girl, Superhero, and Head of the Class, blends lively colors like pink, blue, and purple with conservative options such as brown and gunmetal. FGX'S QUANTUM OPTICS PRESENTS GARGOYLES
Quantum Optics Inc, a division of FGX International Inc., has launched its newest frame line, the Gargoyles Optical Collection. Started in 1979 by Dennis Burns, the Gargoyles family now includes a new optical collection that strives to meet his originality, spirit, and innovation. Designed and developed with precision craftsmanship, the frames are exclusively made in Japan. In the new Gargoyles ophthalmic line there are three styles in handmade zyl material, three styles in handmade zyl front with metal temples and zyl temple tips, three full metal frames with zyl temple tips, and three styles that feature full metal frames with zyl temple tips. Each of the styles come in two colors in a palette ranging from black, graphite, and charcoal, to tortoise, copper, and steel blue. Each frame comes with a case, and with every order of 20 or more frames, eyecare practitioners will receive a custom Gargoyles hat and stainless steel water bottle.
