My wife drives a lot with her new job and is complaining about glare through the windshield. What can she do?
Not being able to see everything on the road is dangerous. She will be safer AND more comfortable with Xperio lenses. In addition to cutting the “brightness” and exposure to UV, Xperio lenses provide considerable glare reduction, better clarity of vision, and true color enhancement. And, they won't fade over time.
I don't have any symptoms of eye disease. Why do I need regular eye exams?
Though most serious diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, or diabetic retinopathy can occur at any age, few people visit an eye doctor unless they have symptoms. By then, it may be too late. Furthermore, complete eye exams can also reveal other health problems—like diabetes, multiple sclerosis, hypertension, stroke, and heart disease. Unlike complete exams, simple eye tests only check for prescription changes and won't detect major eye diseases.
I just learned that my 8-year-old son needs glasses. What should he wear?
For children, the most appropriate choice is Essilor Junior lenses. They're made of polycarbonate, a very strong material that prevents breakage, and come standard with a no-glare treatment that also helps them stay clean and prevents scratching. These lenses are made for children—they stay cleaner longer and are very durable.
