Headed to VEW? Here are a few tips from Reed Exhibitions to help get the most from your trip.
1 Create a list of exhibitors you want to visit and make appointments with your must-see picks.
2 Decide how much time to spend at the show and then at each booth. Allow extra time for browsing, distractions, and waiting in lines.
3 Write a trip report as you go along and summarize your notes every evening.
4 Plan the seminars and workshops you want to attend; split sessions up among your colleagues to maximize data gathering.
5 Pre-register for the event and arrive early to avoid standing in lines.
Going the Distance
According to a recent report by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, 78 percent of attendees travel more than 400 miles to attend an exhibition.
