PROTECTING SPORT FISHERIES
costa Sunglasses has reintroduced “The Watery Rave” to the blogosphere, turning the website into an action-focused central hub of sport fishing conservation news and articles. Each month, Costa partners (including OCEARCH, the Coastal Conservation Association, Trout Unlimited, and more) will post blog updates on issues affecting their fisheries, motivating readers to play a more active role in protecting the world’s waters.
“Fisheries all over the planet need our help from pollution, overfishing and more. All of the groups contributing to the site are committed to sustainable sport fishing practices, and want to encourage anglers to become more involved to protect the fish we love,” says Al Perkinson, vice president of marketing for Costa. “We created The Watery Rave as a central place where people can come educate themselves about the challenges facing our waters right now, and give them specific things they can do to help make a difference.”

A GOOD WEBSITE WILL:
Keep your brand in front of patients between office visits
Continuously educate patients about trends in frames, new lens technology, etc.
Use current patients to “spread the word” on social media about your practice
Monitor and manage online reviews sites and respond to reviews (yes, they are talking about you online and they don’t need your permission!)
ECPU ADDS ABO PREP, ENHANCES TRAINING

A RE-IMMAGINED SITE
Italian frame company Immagine98 has revamped its website with more attention-grabbing, updated content and easier searching. It has been tailored to the customer’s needs, by focusing not just on the quality of the products but also on the strong customer service offered by the company.
A visually impactful home page—with its details, close-ups, and sketches—introduces the visitor to the Immagine98 world. From here, visitors can then click to access the company’s two in-house labels—X-IDE and RYE&LYE. The R&D section is particularly prominent, with interesting info on the new collections to be showcased at upcoming exhibitions.
