{LICENSE LINEUP}
Luxottica Group and the Valentino fashion house signed a new and exclusive 10-year eyewear license agreement for the design, manufacture, and worldwide distribution of Valentino eyewear, effective January 2017.
Kenmark renewed its license agreement for the development, production, and global distribution of Timex brand eyewear. The six-year deal extends to Dec. 31, 2021.
Mondottica renewed its eyewear licenses with Ted Baker (through 2020), Pepe Jeans (through 2018), and Christian Lacroix (through 2018).

Marchon announced the following executive restructuring: Andy Skitmore, previously senior vice president of Sports Brands, has been named senior vice president of the Americas; Dan Leonardi, previously senior director, Global Brands, has been named vice president, Sports Brands.
Williams Group hired Susan M. Napolitano as general counsel and vice president of its wgTransitions division to aid Williams Group/Transitions/Brokerage clients with the legal aspects associated with the transition of their practices.
Luxottica Group made several changes within the leadership of its North American Retail segments: Mary Anne Stangby has been promoted to senior vice president and general manager of Sunglass Hut North America; Alexis McLaughlin, senior vice president and general manager of Target Optical, adds the Sears business to her responsibilities; Pete Bridgman was promoted to senior vice president and general manager of LensCrafters; Alex Wilkes, previously with LensCrafters, is now senior vice president & general manager for Pearle Vision.

Optometry Giving Sight consolidated its Global Board and Global Development Board, creating a new Board with 11 members: Glenn Ellisor (Vision Source), Marc Ferrara (Jobson Medical Information), Pat McNeil (VSP Global), Howard Purcell (Essilor of America), Alan Ulsifer (FYidoctors), Rick Weisbarth (Alcon), Juan Carlos Aragon (CooperVision), Peter Ackland (International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness), Susan Cooper (World Council of Optometry), and Amanda Davis and Yvette Waddell (both of Brien Holden Institute).
Christopher Shyer, president of Zyloware, has been named to the Board of Trustees at Pratt Institute, and the Board’s Development Committee.
Kerry D. Solomon, M.D., has been named the 31st president of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) effective May 31. He will replace outgoing president Robert J. Cionni, M.D.
Envision president and CEO Michael J. Monteferrante has been appointed to the board of directors of National Industries for the Blind (NIB), with key assignments on the Legislative and Regulatory Policy Committee, and the Budget and Finance Committee.

Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., appointed Peter Menziuso to the role of president, North America. He takes over from Laura Angelini, who has moved to a new role with the company.
GUNNAR Optiks named Scott Sorensen president of the brand. He previously served as vice president, marketing. Sorensen succeeds Rob Jafek, interim CEO, who took the reins in November 2014.
Costa president and CEO Chas MacDonald announced his retirement from the company, effective April 30. He joined the company in 2003. An announcement regarding his successor is forthcoming.
