Calling All Parents
knowing how much parents love to share pics of their children, ClearVision Optical is hosting a photo-driven social media contest for its Dilli Dalli customers and their patients. Held on the Dilli Dalli Facebook page (facebook.com/DilliDalliEyewear), the contest offers a weekly raffle of T-shirts for patients and a monthly raffle of a kids’ activity center for ECPs.
Submissions are accepted from patients and ECPs via the Facebook page, through email (dillidalli@cvoptical.com), and via Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #DilliDalliKids. Window clings, countercards, and digital images announcing the contest are available from ClearVision. Earlier this year, the company launched dillidalli.com, a consumer-facing website exclusively for the Dilli Dalli brand.

Videos for Social Media
VSP Vision Care has produced two consumer-facing videos—one aimed at educating the public about digital eye strain and blue light exposure, and the other about VSP Optics Group’s Sharper Image TechShield, which absorbs and deflects incoming blue light.
The video on digital eye strain features Gary Morgan, O.D., speaking on the blue light emitted from digital screens and how it affects the eye. The other video uses animation and illustrations to clearly explain what blue light is, how it affects the body, and how the lens protects wearers from blue light exposure. Both videos are appropriate for ECPs’ social media channels and websites, or to play in the dispensary and waiting room.
