Web Series Sizzles With Summer Tips
transitions Optical, Inc., has launched a continuation of its Spanish-language web series “Estilo a Primera Vista,” starring celebrity stylist Irma Martinez. The series features summer travel strategies for Hispanic consumers.
The latest video focuses on the impact of UV rays on eye health. According to a survey conducted by Wakefield Research on behalf of Transitions Optical, eight out of 10 Americans know that the sun can damage their skin, but only 1% know it can damage their eyes. Transitions adaptive lenses block 100% of UV rays and adapt to changing light.

Rochester Optical Lab has redesigned its website to include an improved “Optical Lab” page. The page features a video that highlights the many high-tech aspects of its full-service lab and its state-of-the-art, digital free-form manufacturing and AR coating equipment.
Future updates will include new product highlights and more lab content.
Eyecessorize Puts Focus on Fashion
The Vision Council’s Eyecessorize campaign, which promotes the fashion and lifestyle aspects of eyewear to consumers, has redesigned its website to merge an improved existing site with the Eyecessorize blog (which had been located under a different URL). The blog is updated daily with posts on new frame styles and trends to watch.
Other areas of the site include an Eyewear Gallery and an “Eyewear 101” section that educates visitors on lenses, frames, and fashion. Optimized SEO, improved graphics and navigation, and social media feeds round out the offerings.
