Award-Winning Vision Aid
seeBOOST is a new category of corrective eyeglasses for low vision patients, integrating cameras and a micro-display with a prescription lens. This combination compensates for the loss of vision for patients with AMD and diabetic retinopathy (the leading causes of blindness in the developed world), as well as Stargardt disease.
Developed by EverGlaze, LLC, the device helps the wearer make the best use of their remaining vision to continue to do things like read, use a computer, watch TV, or enjoy hobbies.
It has a magnification range of 1.4-7x (adjustable with a knob) and an autofocus function that continually changes to meet the wearer’s gaze. The ergonomic and lightweight design makes it practical to use all day long.

New Tech for Better Independence
OrCam has launched its next-generation assistive technology: OrCam MyEye 2.0. Designed to empower those who are blind or partially sighted to achieve increased independence, the MyEye 2.0 allows wearers to hear printed text and identify faces.
Wireless, lightweight, and about the size of a finger, OrCam’s assistive technology instantly reads printed and digital text aloud. Instant face recognition improves social situations. Identification of consumer products, colors, and money notes provides additional levels of independence.
Magnetically mounted on the wearer’s eyeglasses or sunglasses frame, OrCam MyEye 2.0 is the only wearable artificial vision tech that is activated by an intuitive pointing gesture or simply by following the wearer’s gaze.
Upgrades include the ability to detach it from the frame and use it as a pen to read text; LEDs to illuminate text, faces, or colors in low-light situations; and software that can be updated over Wi-Fi.
