Step right up for our monthly lineup of inspiring, well-defined social media content (and free images!) to help your business #grow + make your life #easier
when I think of February, my brain automatically goes there.
You know, that day in the middle of the month where roses are red and violets are blue? Yes, that one.
In addition to Valentine’s Day, February is a busy month for social media. We will talk about love, pizza, and fun quotes to help you create inspiring content.
And like last month, I’ve included all the images you see here for you to use for #FREE (download from the link in the box at the top of this page). Consider it my Valentine’s Day gift to you. Because, XO.
Feb. 9: #NationalPizzaDay
Out of all the days of the year, this is the one day to celebrate your favorite kind of crust. Nowadays, with vegan and gluten-free options available at many restaurants, pizza leaves nobody behind.
On Feb. 9 post a photo of your happy pie or slice with #NationalPizzaDay in the caption. And don’t forget to inspire your community by tagging, hashtagging, and following your local pizza spot.
I’m not one to condone Internet stalking, but liking and commenting on followers of said local pizza joint could potentially get you some new customers. Read: If they eat local, they will also #shoplocal.
Age-Related Macular Degeneration Awareness Month
When it comes to our older patients and customers, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of blindness. Fortunately, in the last 10 years, new AMD treatments have dramatically changed our worlds.
AMD is more manageable today than it ever has been. But guess what? Early detection with a comprehensive eye exam is a critical first step.
Since most older Americans still prefer scheduling with a human (versus online), I created a fun, one-post campaign where the call to action is to make contact by phone. You can add your own educational element and business phone number in the caption.
Dr. Gill’s QOTD
Quotes are an effective way to tell a brand story and engage with customers. Having trouble with writing fun, relatable quotes? Me too.
Inspiration happens to be everywhere—songs on the radio, billboards, Pinterest, and even during everyday conversation. Keep your eyes and ears open. For February, I created a couple of inspiring quotes for you. Just kiss me.
Posting tip for February: Create small batches.
There’s nothing more annoying than frantically searching for content to meet your posting deadline. Whenever I create content like quotes or product photos, I do them in small batches. Try to create three to five images at the same time so you have content when you need it. ☺
