Self-taught Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab began making clothes for his sisters at the age of 9. Today, Saab is known as an arbiter of haute couture. His luxurious fashion house unveils its first ophthalmic collection from Safilo, and it is a sophisticated addition to the Elie Saab sunglass collection launched last year.

The ophthalmic collection, crafted by expert goldsmith artisans, launches with six styles that encapsulate the refined elegance of the Elie Saab brand. Specifically highlighting the Chaine theme, which features twisted precious metal wires, as well as the Vague theme, which incorporates gold-plated metals (such as ES 018, pictured), the collection is designed to double as authentic pieces of jewelry. The suggested retail price range is $495 to $775.
