In November 2018, sisters Giulia Tinari, O.D., and optician Paola Tinari achieved their dream of opening a boutique practice—the aptly named Sorella Optique & Eyecare in Paoli, PA. [Sorella is “sister” in Italian.]

“We want to go beyond the typical eyecare experience and have you feeling like you were at the spa,” says Dr. Tinari.

They achieve luxe vibes via welcoming aromas, soothing playlists, body care products, a jewelry line to complement eyewear, and, of course, cutting-edge eyecare services.

Here, Paola shares their dawn to dusk.

6 a.m. Wake up to my favorite playlist.

6:15 a.m. Daily affirmations + breakfast while watching “First Take” on ESPN.

7 a.m. Workout time!

8 a.m. Get ready for work while jamming out to Ariana Grande’s new album.

9:45 a.m. Arrive at Sorella.

10:15 a.m. Run through the daily tasks.

10:30 a.m. Greet first patient and help pick out their new eyewear.

12:30 p.m. Lunch with my sister and discuss second half of the day.

2 p.m. Send texts out to parents and boyfriend, checking in to make sure their day is going well.

4 p.m. Bill insurances, meet reps, and clean store.

6:30 p.m. Cook dinner.

8 p.m. Wind down with the family or boyfriend, pour a glass of whiskey or wine, and watch “The Office.”
