Utenzi Miller has quite the following.

The optician at Elegant Eyes in East Orange, NJ, recently wrapped up a six-city U.S. tour, taking her sought-after styling services from Brooklyn to Memphis. The entrepreneur also offers personal concierge services via virtual eyewear styling.

“The most amazing part of the tour was meeting new faces, many of which follow me or vice versa via social media,” says Miller, who has more than 13,000 followers on Instagram. “It’s one thing to converse with people via [direct message] or FaceTime, but to actually meet them in person, face to face, was a joy—to get to know them on a level much larger than just eyewear.”

Here, the optician extraordinaire shares a day in the life.

5:30 a.m. Meditation followed by an hour of cardio while scrolling my social media platforms.

7 a.m. Espresso and drive to work while listening to my favorite podcast, “Oprah Supersoul Conversations.”

7:45 a.m. Arrive at Elegant Eyes. Reply to emails and review my to-do list prepared the evening before. Another cup of espresso, LOL.

9 a.m. Begin the day with a morning huddle with my team. Daily intentions and sales goals are reinforced.

10 a.m. Start seeing clients, bill insurances, meet sales reps, lab ordering.

1:30 p.m. Lunch break—salad and black coffee.

4 p.m. End the workday—review charts, lab orders, reports.

6 p.m. Dinner with my fiancée at one of our favorite local restaurants.

8 p.m. Wind down with more social media scrolling and watching Netflix while enjoying a glass of wine.
