“I came to this industry four years ago with very little knowledge of eyewear,” says Tarrence Lackran, Reed Exhibitions’ director of industry relations for Vision Expo. “That quickly led to a love of eyewear and now my passion and obsession!”
Today, the familiar and bespectacled face in the industry travels the country to hear the stories of independent optical retailers and see their visions come to life—collaborating with them to share info on Vision Expo and help them develop fresh and innovative ideas for the show.
“My favorite part of Vision Expo is seeing all of the people from the industry who I have visited over the year come together under one roof and watching them do what runs through the veins of so many of them.”
Here, Lackran shares his dawn to dusk from a stop in California as he gears up for Vision Expo West. —KERRI ANN RAIMO
