Aya Optical, a supporter of First Nations artists and their communities, has released two new styles—Jax and Paxton—featuring artwork by Ts’mysen and Cree Nations artist Phil Gray.
Integrating metal inlays, computer numerical control technology, and digital print, these styles are wearable pieces of art. Comprised of acetate and metal with spring hinges, both styles feature an eagle design inspired by Gray’s sculptural pieces emblazoned on the temples.
Available in soft crystal colors—blue, brown, and red—the Jax style, pictured above in brown, features an angular front silhouette—feminine yet strong.
The handmade Paxton style, pictured here, is available in Havana black and crystal gray.
Each design comes with an embossed hard case and microfiber cleaning cloth. Partial proceeds from the sale of all Aya eyewear and accessory items are donated to communities in need.
