The eyewear collaboration between Outerknown and Otis Eyewear is crafted with certified biodegradable Eco-Acetate, 100% recyclable and biodegradable raw materials derived from cotton seed and wood pulp, with mineral glass lenses that are endlessly recyclable and highly scratch resistant, according to Outerknown. Inspired by Otis Eyewear’s origin in Western Australia, the collection pays respect to the ecosystem and celebrates where water and earth meet—for example where the red dirt of the Kimberly meets the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean.
Each style comes with signature accents to mark the collection, a protective carry case, plastic-free packaging, and a recycled cloth wrap. At the end of the product’s life, customers can return their used frames to Otis for recycling.
Otis x Outerknown’s unisex Summer of 67 sun style, pictured above in eco crystal sunset/brown polar, harkens back to the counterculture of the 1960s with rounded edges in a classic silhouette.
The unisex Otis x Outerknown Jazmine sun style, pictured here in eco teal bark/smokey blue polar, features a subtle, retro-inspired cat-eye silhouette—available in colorways that celebrate the duality of where land meets water.
