Nov. 11, 2021 — Vision Expo organizers The Vision Council and RX recently announced that ShopVISION, the global digital sourcing platform for the vision care community that has also served as an extension to the Vision Expo trade show experience, has doubled in size following its launch.
“Since launching ShopVISION in June, we’ve had only one goal: deliver the best product discovery and sourcing experience for buyers in order to drive value for suppliers on the platform,” says Matthias Clock, marketing director, Vision Expo at RX. “We’re thrilled to see the steady growth in buyers and their engagement with suppliers and even more excited for the new platform upgrades and content features that we’ll be releasing in the months to come.”
ShopVISION, which hosts more than 4,600 products and 390 brands, has more than 1,500 active buyers utilizing the marketplace. More specifically, as of October 2021, organizers share that ShopVISION has 3,800-plus supplier profile visits and 2,900 product views, and that the platform has facilitated more than 1,000 new connections between buyers and sellers. As of late October, ShopVISION had 1,100-plus showroom visits and 1,600 product favorites, wish lists, likes, and comments.
ShopVISION also hosts a feature week each month, in which industry insiders share roundups of products based on a category or theme.
