April 20, 2023 — In honor of Earth Day on April 22, the Center for Ocular Research and Education (CORE) has released four infographics to encourage responsible contact lens recycling.
 
Earlier this month, CORE lead clinical scientist Alison Ng and director Lyndon Jones published an article in the U.K., acknowledging that "most major contact lens manufacturers have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to sustainable practices" by preventing waste while encouraging responsible disposal. The infographics were developed to help contact lens wearers better understand how they can be active participants in sustainable behaviors.
