Aug. 7, 2024 — Vision Expo West will kick off with its educational program, VisionEd, on Wednesday, Sept. 18, followed by the exhibition hall opening on Thursday, Sept. 19.
The four-day conference will offer more than 150 hours of accredited continuing education, with topics ranging from disease management and practice growth to lens innovations and the latest in eyewear trends.
OptiCon @ Vision Expo will return with a comprehensive education package for opticians and allied health professionals. This program will provide over 100 hours of content across five tracks: clinical concepts, spectacle lenses, contact lenses, allied health, and business.
In addition to the robust education programming, attendees will have access to an exhibit hall featuring more than 350 brands, designers, and manufacturers showcasing the latest advancements in eye care and eyewear.
“The quality of our educational sessions reflects our unwavering commitment to advancing the knowledge base of vision care professionals,” says Fran Pennella, vice president of Vision Expo at RX. “We believe that these sessions will provide significant value and inspire attendees to excel in their practice.”
“Attendees will have ample opportunities for networking and collaboration to connect with old friends and forge new relationships,” say OptiCon advisory board co-chairs Lanard Atkins and Phernell Walker. “It is through these connections that we can collectively drive progress and create a lasting impact in our industry.”
The event, organized by The Vision Council and RX, will take place at The Venetian Las Vegas from Sept. 18-21. Look out for EB’s BIG Vision Expo West Guide in the upcoming September issue.
