Jan. 7, 2025 — The World Council of Optometry (WCO) and the American Optometric Association (AOA) are accepting submissions for poster abstracts for Optometry’s Meeting 2025. This event, held in partnership with the 5th World Congress of Optometry, will take place June 25–29.
The Poster Session aims to provide clinicians, students, and educators with a platform to present unique clinical cases and research to their peers. Submissions must involve completed, unpublished work and will be evaluated based on specific criteria for acceptance.
Abstract submissions are being accepted electronically through Feb. 14, and eligibility for presenting requires primary authors to hold membership in the WCO or AOA.
In addition to receiving complimentary event registration, the five top-rated posters will be featured in a live educational session on June 27 from 4-6 p.m. at Optometry’s Meeting, with authors delivering 15- to 20-minute presentations on their work. The top posters will also be showcased in AOA Focus magazine and WCO E-news.
Participants can choose among three presentation formats: live (in person), live (virtual), or prerecorded.
