2 A Fresh Twist
ProDesign introduces the elegant and original ZENSE frame (ProDesign 7342-45) with a special hinge. The design of the hinge is such that one rotates the temples to fold them. The front itself is quite classical in shape, the temples are slender and the long end tips are made of rubber. The rubber clings slightly to the skin so that the frame is held in place, even in very hot weather. There are four Zense models in four colors each in sizes that are suitable for progressive lenses. Some of the models are masculine, some feminine and some unisex in both full and half-rim versions.

Oakley has added to its collection of limited edition sunwear that blends sporty design with artistic flair with the new Ravishing sunglasses. Oakley Women turned to Caia Koopman, a California-born American painter who is part of the Pop Surrealism movement, to lend her unique aesthetic sense to the frame design. "We chose Caia because of her graphic approach to painting. Her strong lines, patterns, and deeply defined shapes blend well with the Oakley Women's vision," according to Jen Bradley, women's brand director at Oakley. The polished white frame and strong, bold curves, together with the oversized gradient lenses that embrace the latest in eyewear fashion, give these glasses an air of dare. A Mexicali image of a woman in profile, accented with a Spanish rose in her hair, stays true to Koopman's illustrations inspired by women and nature. INFO: www.oakley.com |
