TREND: Ethereal Twist
Ethereal vibes are white hot this season—with delicate, lacy maxi dresses and skirts leading the trend for apparel. Eyewear can either complement or contrast; either option proved to be on-trend. Stella McCartney paired an airy, coy look with a bold sunglass style from Kering.

TREND: Logo Lovin’
Does your business have some loyal designer-brand ambassadors? Eye-catching logos and intensified branding are having a fun + fearless moment for the upcoming season. For those who are mad for Moschino, this runway-exclusive sunglass is a reinterpretation of the cat-eye MOS006/s model from Safilo, which offers an approachable display of the brand’s signature metal studs on the frame front and the Moschino logo along the temples.

TREND: Fiercely Floral
The signature floral trend gets a spunky update for Spring/Summer 2018, and eyewear is helping it blossom. Dolce & Gabbana went full-on floral on the runway, with a boost from the DG2201 style from Luxottica, featuring round lenses bordered with mirrored petals for a 3D effect.

TREND: Pretty in Plaid
The standard print got a fresh update for spring, as designers positioned plaids in all hues as this season’s style staple. The Fendi runway was on point with plaid, with a beachy ensemble topped off with sunglass style FF 0316/S “Tropical Shine” from Safilo, a Caribbean-inspired design that’s perfectly in line with the brand’s apparel for the season.

Yes, the Pantone experts named Ultra Violet the Color of the Year 2018. And rocking the purple hue du jour is easy—try subdued, pleasant purples paired with delicate specs. Salvatore Ferragamo got it right with its SF909S style from Marchon, a modern and feminine sunglass in blush.
