Zeiss Vision Care launches its new Zeiss ClearMind prescription lens portfolio, a premium offering designed to support visual clarity and wearer comfort throughout the day.
According to Zeiss, the ClearMind portfolio is designed to address challenges associated with modern visual demands, including prolonged screen use and high levels of visual stimuli. The lenses are designed to reduce visual strain and support sustained focus, with an emphasis on overall wearer well-being.
The lenses incorporate Zeiss NeurOptix technology, which redistributes blur zones in progressive lenses to less critical viewing areas. As a result, Zeiss reports that ClearMind progressive lenses offer up to 45% larger zones of clear vision for near distances and up to 26% larger zones for intermediate distances compared to Zeiss SmartLife progressive lenses. Adaptation rates were also evaluated in testing, with 88% of wearers adjusting to the lenses within a few days and 51% adapting within 1 hour, according to the company.
The Zeiss ClearMind portfolio includes single vision, progressive, and antifatigue lens options. The lenses are designed to be customizable based on age-related visual behavior and individual wearer needs.
