Nike Vision introduces Max Optics, a new lens technology designed for use across its sunglass collection from Marchon.
According to the company, Max Optics lenses are engineered to sharpen detail perception and increase color vividness. The lenses also provide UV protection intended to shield eyes from harmful rays and help reduce eye fatigue during extended outdoor activity.
An advanced version, Max Optics Pro, features sport-specific lens tints and additional performance coatings, including hydro-oleophobic coatings designed to repel water, sweat, and smudges, as well as antireflective treatments intended to maintain visual clarity, according to the company.
The Max Optics Pro lineup includes 4 tint options tailored to different environments, Marchon shares:
-
Road Tint is designed to enhance red and green tones to support terrain tracking and movement while filtering blue light to help reduce eye fatigue during activities such as cycling and running.
-
Field Tint amplifies colors, including blue, orange, and white, to improve visibility in open-field and fast-paced sports, including lower-light conditions.
-
Terrain Tint mutes most colors except red to increase contrast and highlight trail details such as roots and elevation changes, targeting trail runners and mountain bikers.
-
Course Tint enhances red and green tones to support course visibility in golf, from fairway to green.
