JASON WU SUNWEAR DEBUTS FROM MODO Skyrocketing into the fashion world from a humble start as a teenage doll-clothing designer, Jason Wu is becoming a familiar name on red carpets and even in the White House. The winner of Fashion Group International's Rising Star award in 2008, Wu was also nominated for the Vogue Fashion Fund award that same year. First Lady Michelle Obama can be found in his fashions, and the one-shoulder white chiffon gown Wu custom designed for her stole the spotlight at the inaugural balls. Now he is entering the optical market with the Modo for Jason Wu collection of sunglasses. Featuring four sun styles, the acetate and stainless steel styles are all handmade in Japan.
