L'Amy America and Nina Ricci, Paris, have relaunched the NR3203 sunglass. The original style was worn by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (photo 1978). In celebration of this historic endeavor, L'Amy America will utilize the original photograph of Ms. Onassis wearing the sunglass, for which they acquired exclusive rights worldwide. In keeping with the spirit of the original frame, the NR3203, originally created by Nina Ricci in the late ’70s, will be both designed and manufactured in France and crafted in handmade zyl. L'Amy America president Stephen Rappoport says, "We are thrilled with the opportunity to offer this authentic ‘Jackie’ model for Spring ’09. Customer and media response has been tremendous." 8 GETTING FREAKY
