Live Eyewear, Inc., has appointed Tracy Anderson to the position of forecast analyst. In his new role, Anderson, a 15-year eyewear industry veteran, will be responsible for analyzing the company's sales trends and future forecasts. Bryan G. Schueler has been named vice president and general manager for the Walman Optical Company's Ophthalmic Division. Schueler will oversee ophthalmic sales, marketing, and manufacturing functions. The Foundation for Eye Health Awareness has appointed Stephanie Campbell managing director of the organization. Campbell will help lead programs and initiatives developed by the board of directors, and will serve as the primary staff liaison to various committees, as well as the advisory council and donor leadership circle. |

Stephanie Su, OD, FAAO, the manager of Research Clinic Operations, Bausch + Lomb, has received the Young Optometrist of the Year Award, an honor given by the New York State Optometric Association.
Ellen Gelsen of Gardens Vision Boutique was chosen as the winning recipient of an Apple iPad raffled off by Shamir Insight for participating in an optical industry survey conducted through Lippincott Williams and Wilkins Vision Care Group, Eyecare Business' business unit.
SECO International announced the recipients of its three 2010 Southern Council of Optometrists Clinical Excellence Awards. They are: Nicole Psaltis from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry; Justine M. Siegers from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry; and Michelle Brennan from Southern College of Optometry.
