NO-GLARE EVERYWHERE

Essilor of America introduces Crizal SunShield, the first and only No-Glare sunlenses that eliminate backside UV reflections. Crizal SunShield's optimized formulation allows 30 percent less UV light into the eye than ordinary sunlenses, and 99 percent of visible glare and light reflections on the lens' backside are neutralized.

The lenses incorporate the advanced technologies of Crizal Avancé lenses with Scotchgard Protector, the SR Booster Layer, and anti-static properties to the backside of the lens to enhance scratch protection and resistance to dust.

Now the company's most advanced and protective No-Glare sunlenses available, Crizal SunShield replaces Crizal Sun with Scotchgard Protector and Crizal Sun Mirrors with Scotchgard Protector.

QSpex Technologies, Inc.'s QSpex Premium Lens System produces top-quality AQuity 155 single vision lenses and PALs on-site in about 30 minutes. The system utilizes single-use, plastic disposable molds; each back mold is supplied with a pre-attached lens spacer into which the front mold is pushed. All lens treatments are integrated into the molds and transfer during curing. Lens production includes clear, seven-layer, vacuum-coated oleophobic-hydrophobic AR, polarized, polarized plus backside AR, photochromic, and photochromic/AR lenses, all with integrated scratch-resistance.
