Together with Viva International Group, William Rast has signed a multi-year endorsement agreement for racing star Danica Patrick to promote William Rast optical, sunwear, and racing eyewear lines. Patrick will be wearing William Rast on and off the racetrack and appear in upcoming campaigns coinciding with the consumer launch of William Rast Eyewear this year.
6Calls and 4PatientCare have signed a cooperative agreement allowing each to include the other's patient communication solutions into their own product lineup.

GOOD DEEDS
Ogi Eyewear has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities to provide complimentary eye exams and free Ogi frames to children within the program in need of vision correction. To date, Ogi has issued more than 80 vouchers for free eyecare services to children in the Minneapolis area and plans to expand its outreach to the rest of the upper Midwest.

As part of its 2011 Scholarship Program, Transitions Optical, Inc., has awarded six top winners a $1,000 scholarship and a trip to the ABO-NCLE National Education Conference, while nine others received $500 scholarships.

Prevent Blindness America has granted its 2011 Investigator Award to Danielle Monique Ledoux, MD, of Children's Hospital Boston. Dr. Ledoux will use her grant to compare new vision screening technology to today's current practices.
