VSP Vision Care kicked off its 2011 Eye on Diabetes campaign this spring in Phoenix, Ariz. The campaign is designed to increase awareness and understanding of the connection between eyecare and general health and to highlight the role eye doctors play in the early detection and treatment of chronic health conditions.

Kaenon Polarized hosted the third annual “SUP for a Pup” event to benefit A Wish For Animals (AWFA), a local nonprofit rescue. Proceeds from the event benefit rescue dogs without homes.

Essilor Vision Foundation and the Kids Vision for Life Coalition provided free visioncare services to more than 1,200 children in Dallas during KidsVisionFest, an event hosted by both organizations.

CooperVision announced that it will become a Gold Global Sponsor of Optometry Giving Sight. The sponsorship is in addition to the contributions CooperVision provides to the charity worldwide.
