BCBGMAXAZRIA ROLLS OUT FUNDRAISING GROUPING
The new cause-related limited edition sunglass, BCBGMAXAZRIA Strength, is now available. The frame, produced by ClearVision Optical, will help to raise funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
For the past several years, the fashion label has contributed to Komen with the creation of original designs in shades of pink to raise support and awareness of the cause.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a global leader of the breast cancer movement, has invested more than $1.9 billion since inception in 1982. As the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, the group works to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all, and energize science to find the cures.
Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, and contributions from partners, sponsors, and fellow supporters, it is one of the largest sources of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
The acetate sunglass is offered in plum and black color combinations.

MARCHON ROLLS CALVIN KLEIN JEANS COLLECTION
The Calvin Klein family of eyewear and sunwear from Marchon has been expanded with the addition of the Calvin Klein Jeans sunwear collection. Positioned as the opening price point to the brand family, the new collection serves as an introduction to the world of Calvin Klein, notes Linda Ryno, Marchon's vice president of international brands.
“It's a very youth-driven, unisex collection that focuses on edginess and individuality,” Ryno says. “The consumer we are targeting is strong on sense of style and individuality. Styles allow self expression.”
Special design details include Graffiti finishes featuring brush strokes on the temple in a matte finish to provide texture on shiny frames. In addition, the shape of the temple tip is inspired by the shape of the jeans pocket and the wire temple models are inspired by stitching on the pockets. Styles in the dogtag series also have military inspirations with antique, worn finishes and dogtag logo plaques.
The unisex collection of 27 models includes eight male, 10 female, and nine unisex styles.
