A&A ADDS SUN TO QUIKSILVER COLLECTION
Since its launch into the surf business in 1970, Quiksilver has been pushing the envelope for style and technology suited to the surf and skate lifestyles.
Innovators in boardshorts for the surfing community, the company has expanded its horizons to cover head-to-toe beach- and slope-friendly looks ready for the surf and ski cultures and their admirers.
The latest addition to the lineup is Quiksilver sunglasses, offered by A&A Optical. Starting with a trio of designs, the sun styles provide the finishing touch for outdoors and active looks. Three styles include all plastic or metal and plastic combination styles in colors such as shiny and matte black, gun, brown, and blue.
“The development of Quiksilver is in response to customer demand and A&A’s strategy to diversify the product selection. The new styles were designed with quality in mind for the fun-in-the-sun crowd needing prescription sunwear,” says Robert Liener, A&A Optical president/CEO.

It’s a Man’s World MARCHON UNVEILS VALENTINO MEN’S SUNGLASS COLLECTION |
---|
While Valentino’s designs have graced women on red carpets and fashion pages all over the world, the designer’s menswear has been creating an equally elegant impact with finely crafted couture looks. This season, Valentino-wearing men will be adopting a sharp silhouette, taking architectural shapes and editing them for a modern restyling of traditional looks in suits, coats, and apparel. In rounding out the collection, Valentino has added a men’s sunglass line to its eyewear offerings from Marchon. The sunwear takes its cue from the runway designs of Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, incorporating classic, refined looks with decidedly contemporary details such as the Valentino Rockstud and V logo elements on the temples and frame fronts. The color palette picks up the runway collection’s urban camouflage tones of gray, green, blue, black, and beige. Metal aviators, keyhole bridge plastics, and large square metals highlighted by richly colored enamel offer a sleek take on iconic eyewear styles while providing the “subtly subversive elegance” pulled from the runway.
