Gregg Fowler, HOYA Davis Vision, Inc., has named Scott Mallonee regional vice president for national accounts and Chris Childs regional vice president of sales for the western division. Vision Source has added Neil Godbey to its board of directors. Godbey is president and CEO of The Godbey Group and chairman and CEO of Advanced Plan for Health.

Optometry Giving Sight (OGS) is launching a fresh look and feel to the 2013 World Sight Day Challenge, which runs from September 1 to October 10. Through its partnership with the Special Olympics Opening Eyes program, the Essilor Vision Foundation provided more than 475 pairs of glasses to athletes at the Special Olympics Texas Summer Games, held May 24 and 25, 2013, at the University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Stadium.
