A bright pop of color and sleek styling, ProDesigns’ latest addition to the Essential frame group, the 1393-97 series, has an optimistic, sporty look.

The grouping features five shapes in four to six colors each, with two feminine shapes, two masculine shapes, and one unisex style. The collection is an intentional contrast to the classic sharp design of the Essential line, company representatives say. The styles experiment with colors and material, and the brushed temples give a high-performance feel.

The color scheme is playful with a dynamic expression and flow between the front and the temples. The collection has the classic handmade line all along the edge of the front, which is a special ProDesign trait.

The fronts are cut off at the hinges instead of bending around the corner to meet the temple in a mix of titanium combined with the rubber acetate of the end-tips. The exact color match between the acetate end tips and titanium fronts look like they were carved from one single material.

Designed to provide the sporty set with a lifestyle look, Rudy Project has added the the Deewhy sunglasses to its collection. The style is inspired by beach sun, surf, sand, and sky and has been named after the famous Australian beach, Deewhy.

The style’s Polarized Polar3FX lenses offer the maximum performance and visual clarity which are described by the firm as ideal for driving and eliminating the reflections of the sun on surfaces like water, asphalt, and snow, providing excellent protection for the eyes.

The Deewhy style also has an Rx option with broad parameters.
